Superior Room

We made a last minute booking for the small standard room. However, when we arrived, there was a cancellation and we were upgraded to the suite with a balcony overlooking the ocean. What a treat! Furnishings are tastefully done, good location, gated parking, friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast all rounded our stay off perfectly. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect location with awesome ocean view and very classy furniture. Maarten, your host, was accessible at any time and very helpful. The breakfast was well done and very tasty. We definitily would book it again.

Maartens himself has a personal touch that made his place so homely. He would advise on where to go, how to go about it. He personally drove me down to the table mountains to save time. I will definitely be returning. Nice and safe neighborhood yet close to water fronts.

We arrived late at night but Maarten was waiting for us and made us feel welcome. The second night we got an upgrade to a very nice room. First room was simple but ok. Breakfast was very tasteful. Guesthouse has a good location. Close to all the highlights.

We visited Capetown several times and allways stay at Maartens. Nice guesthouse and Maarten invented hosting a B&B. He can and will arrange anything you want and knows the Mothercity. Good restaurants? Car rental? Tickets? You name it and he will make the phonecalls. Taxi to the centre of town or the V&A Waterfront will cost you around R60. Our room was clean, cosy, lovely decorated. We had a wonderfull view: the ocean and a blooming bauganville (?)! the breakfast was lovely, with fresh bread and fruits. Everything was perfectly arranged. And last but not least, Maarten was very friendly and willing to help us with information, reservations and advises.
